Protect Celeste Guap

The newspaper published the name and social media photos of a female minor and called her a teen prostitute after it was revealed almost a dozen police officers were involved in her sexual exploitation and trafficking. Every detail that comes out worse than the one before. So many looked away.

I condemn the paper.

I curse the police.

I spit on the misogynist media.

I light candles contra la ley and I hex the patriarchy.

I make offerings for our protection and tributes to our intentions.

This altar calls for the protection of Celeste Guap.

Celeste, may you be surrounded with safety in all that you do. May the strength of your spirit and heart be steady and strong as you move forward and leave all that you don’t need behind you. May you find healing and ease in this life. May you win all the lawsuits. May you have justice in all the ways you need and deserve.
